Our signature cookie is a tribute to the iconic Brooklyn Blackout cake—chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. The original cake featured layers of chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, and a cloak of chocolate cake crumbs, creating an indulgence that lived up to its name.

Invented during World War II by Brooklyn bakery chain Ebinger’s, the cake honored the mandatory blackouts put in place to protect the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Decadent, historic, and unapologetically rich—everything Blackout stands for, reimagined in cookie form.
